If at first you don’t succeed….
On Thursday, January 7th, the Senate Judiciary Committee will start off the New Year by once again meeting to discuss and approve the parameters for legalizing pot in New Jersey. S3320 is new bill (pending introduction, naturally) that “updates and clarifies recent legislation passed by both Houses of the Legislature addressing cannabis legalization, and marijuana and hashish decriminalization.” The Senate bill isn’t available yet online, but you’ll find the Assembly version, A5211, at THIS LINK. Those wishing to testify during the Committee hearing must fill out the registration form on the Senate Judiciary Committee page by 3pm on Wednesday, January 6th.
